It is located on Giudecca island, across the canal from St Marks square and the Bauer il Palazzo, their sister hotel, reached by their own electro-solar powered shuttle boat.

The hotel is beautifully designed keeping in tune with the long history of the building and Venice’s culture with antique furnishings, Venetian terrazzo floors and Murano glass lanterns. This traditional Venetian design is combined with the new and exclusive Daniela Steiner spa; there are 8 treatment rooms and a relaxation lounge with a beautiful view across the lagoon to the shores of Venice.
