Mchenja is set beneath a magnificent grove of trees on the banks of the Luangwa River. The camp comprises five stylishly designed tents each under its own thatched roof and each with private en-suite shower and bathroom facility.

Mchenja camp is a luxurious bush camp with five tents on raised wooden platforms, each with an indoor bath and outdoor shower. The camp looks out across the river and after a morning’s walk or game-drive you can relax and admire the view. The camp also has a plunge pool. Game viewing from Mchenja is conducted both on foot and by four-wheel drive and this is the only bush camp in Luangwa to be open in the green season (January to March).
