Zambia

Covering an area larger than France but with a population of just 10.5 million Zambia is home to some of the most pristine wilderness in Africa. Shaped like a giant butterfly and sitting on a high undulating plateau, it is riven with great valleys including the Zambezi, the Kafue and the Luangwa. Scott Dunn guests in Zambia are encouraged to spend at least some of their time on one of the walking safaris for which the country is famed to really get a feel for the incredible landscapes and the diverse species which inhabit them. In addition to wonderful game viewing, you will also want to visit Victoria Falls and take part in some of the exhilarating activities on offer there. A direct flight now links Lusaka with Dar es Salaam so a visit to Zambia can easily be combined with East Africa.
