Short holidays

Three or four days away can be the perfect amount of time to rejuvenate. Possible destinations extend far further than Europe and choosing African destinations where there is little or no time difference is a perfect option. An overnight flight to for example Cape Town ensures you can make the most out of the sunshine and stunning scenery along with the city’s laid back attitude to life. Venturing inland, you are likely to find vineyards that produce South Africa’s famous wine.

North Africa is also a viable and popular option as the flight time is short yet the scenery and culture is so different. Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt are all located on the north coast and offer slightly different styles of holiday. In Morocco for example it is possible to combine the Atlas Mountains with a few days down time in a beautiful hotel in the Palmerie. The Residence in Tunisia also offers a location for a hot holiday relatively close to home.

In Europe it is easy to focus a short holiday on different activities such as wine tasting in France or Portugal’s Douro Valley.
