How to use the site
Welcome to Scott Dunn. We hope you enjoy our website and that you find it interesting.
Quick start: 3 ways to navigate…
1. Browse. Go to the relevant department of the website by clicking on the tabs along the top. Then use the menu on the left of the page to find a holiday ‘by destination’, or ‘by type’. These may vary slightly from department to department ie Ski holidays are also listed ‘by resort’, ‘by chalet’ and ‘by hotel’. In the Mediterranean, they are also listed ‘by villa’ and ‘by resort’.2. Holiday finder. The holiday finder lists different holiday criteria which you can select, thus eliminating those holidays that aren’t of interest to you. To use the ’Holiday Finder’ click on the button in the left hand menu and follow the instructions given.
3. Keyword search. Click on the text box in the left hand menu and enter a keyword eg. a hotel name, an activity or a country and press ‘Go’. We’ll search the whole website looking for your chosen words and show you the results. This is particularly useful if you already know the name of the hotel, chalet or villa.
The information on this page aims to help you easily navigate our website and find what you are looking for. Our website has lots of information about the holidays we offer. There are two types of holiday pages on our website…
Suggested itinerary pages are suggested holidays that we have put together to inspire you – it may be a safari in Africa followed by a week on a Robinson Crusoe island. Or a trip to Latin America visiting the Inca ruins of Macha Pichu. Itineraries generally include a page for each property we feature on it. Again, they are just examples – we will tailor the perfect holiday for you.
Whilst in the property pages you may notice a header on the left-hand sidebar, called ’Related itineraries’. This link will take you through to a page that gives a list of itineraries that the property is included in. These itineraries will give you an idea as to the properties we feel will compliment that property well.
Additionally, there are Property pages which have information about each hotel, villa, lodge, chalet or guesthouse. For example, go to Africa and choose ‘Africa by country’ and choose ‘Tanzania’. Here you will find itineraries and properties.
