Insurance
It is a booking requirement that adequate travel insurance is obtained prior to booking. In many instances annual travel policies or credit card policies will, to a limited extent fulfil this requirement.However, it is important to note that such policies are very ’general’ by definition and may not provide sufficient cover for cancellation, activities considered hazardous (diving, rafting, trekking etc), travel in light or single engine aircraft or for lost nights caused by missed departures - although most cover the additional expenses incurred.
We no longer offer Scott Dunn insurance and are not qualified to recommend any particular policy, however we are an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR) for Citybond Suretravel through
McGregor insurance.

Weather/climate
The question of when to go is difficult as so many factors apply. The weather is always important particularly when a holiday includes time on the beach, but one must also consider the price variations through out the year, the number of people that one will encounter and whether a particular event such as a festival or migration of animals should be incorporated into the holiday.Very often it is better to travel just outside the best weather period when the prices are lower, when one has a wide choice of hotels and when the sights are not overcrowded. Furthermore, as we all know, trying to predict the weather accurately is almost impossible and even the best assumptions based on years of averages will go wrong from time to time.
This is especially true as climate change occurs. As our planet changes, predicting the weather becomes more and more difficult, which is why too much emphasis upon the weather alone can be a mistake.

Warsaw Convention
This Convention applies to all international carriage of persons, baggage, or cargo performed by aircraft for reward. It applies equally to gratuitous carriage by aircraft performed by an air transport undertaking.
