OurSpace – Italy Children’s Club Manager and Supervisors

We have some fantastic opportunities for childcare professionals looking after our brand new OurSpace Children’s Club in Italy from summer 2010 onwards. The succesful candidates will be needed to work from May through to November, although the positions do have the potential to become all year round.

We are looking for a small number of experienced and qualified childcare professionals to join our new Children’s Club team in Southern Italy in a brand new luxury holiday resort.

The roles will involve working with a small childcare team to cater for children aged between 8 months and 13 years of age.

We operate to the highest standards and are looking for multi talented and enthusiastic individuals to make up this unique team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

Planning and working to a varied activity programme
Working with a range of different children’s age groups creating fun safe holiday experiences
Delivering and assisting with the delivering of CACHE training and OurSpace training

Abilities and Expectations:

Management or Supervisory experience within a childcare setting
Experience of working with a Tour Operator is advantageous
Love of children and enjoy the opportunity of working with different children each week (4months –13 years of age)
Languages - in particular Italian, Russian, German and French
Team player
Good self-motivation
Professional
Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills
Organised and pro-active, outgoing and fun
Good knowledge of health and safety

Essential Qualifications/ Requirements:

CACHE diploma in childcare and education level three (or equivalent) accredited qualification
A full clean driving licence
At least two years post qualifying experience in a full time childcare role is required from applicants
EU passport or relevant visa to work in Italy is essential. A UK working visa will not be sufficient
Fluent English is essential for this role
NVQ Assessor or equivalent qualifications desirable but not essential

This post requires an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau clearance (CRB)
