The Emiliano Rio de Janeiro boasts a privileged location right on Copacabana Beach, one of the most iconic stretches of coast in Brazil. Contemporary yet with 1950s inspired details, the property is elegant and provides a welcoming space, the highlight being the rooftop infinity pool from which to enjoy sunsets and scenes over Copacabana and the ocean beyond.
Comprising just 90 rooms and suites, the Emiliano has a slightly more intimate feel than many of the other hotels along Rio's beachfront. Each of the rooms is elegantly designed with warm wooden floors, glass-fronted marble bathrooms and plush white bed linens. Windows are large and look out through the design wall which forms the Emiliano's striking facade to the ocean, or alternatively to the hotel courtyard. Peel back the wall for uninterrupted views.
Up on the roof is the perfect spot for poolside lounging. Enjoy idyllic evening views from the infinity pool as the sun sets over the city or stretch out on one of the loungers, cocktail in hand from the conveniently located bar. Light dishes and healthy snacks are readily available but for something more substantial, head down to the Emile Restaurant where contemporary dishes are served to reflect the overall feel of the hotel.
