We also have more information about different places to visit in Chile below.

Places to visit

Chilean Patagonia is undoubtedly one of the most naturally beautiful places in Chile. From the impact of the majestic snow-capped mountains to the lush vegetation which creates a home for diverse and exotic wildlife including Chilean penguins, flamingos and guanacos. Nevertheless, Pucón and Puerto Varas in the Lake District are equally beautifully places in Chile and there is an arresting beauty about the Atacama Desert that you can’t quite put your finger on. Depending on when you plan to head to Chile our team can advise you on where to visit, recommend some of the best hotels in Chile and what to do in Chile. So do get in touch and start planning your trip.

"Chile has some of my favourite places, including: Torres del Paine National Park - just one of the most beautiful places you can visit in Latin America. It's gorgeous in Chilean Spring because of the flowers, or Autumn because of the colours in the trees, and you can escape the crowds who will be there between December and February. You can enjoy everything from intense hiking to scenic excursions, kayaking and horse-riding, so there is something for everyone.
Atacama Desert - in stark contrast to Patagonia, the Atacama in the north of the country feels like you have landed on the moon! The difference in the scenery considering you are still within Chile is just ridiculous and mind-blowing. Every day trip will take you somewhere different and more spectacular - salt flats, lagoons, moon valley, geysers!
Wine region near to Santiago - for some relaxation during a Chile trip, which can be busy, some time staying in Chile's wine region offers the perfect bit of respite. For those waning to get more off the beaten track, we can look at places like Chiloe Island or Pucon where there are some fabulous properties like Vira Vira or Tierra Chiloe. For even more off the beaten track and an adventurous self-drive location, we also love the Carretera Austral!"
