The climate in Greece is warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From April/May onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May to October are particularly pleasurable months.

Fly to Athens
Day 1-3

Athens, Greece

Begin your journey in Athens, the historic heart of Greece and the ancient world. Celebrate Europe's oldest capital from the comfort and elegance of the Hotel Grande Bretagne, located in the centre of Athens with breath-taking views of the Acropolis and Parthenon.

Spend two nights at this opulent hotel, considered to be the grande dame of the city, and from your base here, explore the delights of Athens. Make your way up the Acropolis to discover a wealth of ancient Greek ruins, including the majestic Parthenon, or wander through picturesque neighbourhoods such as Plaka to get a taste of Athenean life. View the city from atop Lycabettus Hill to really appreciate older Greek architecture juxtaposed with the contemporary buildings that surround your vantage point.

Accommodation: Hotel Grande Bretagne ( 2 nights )
Day 3-8

Porto Heli, Mainland Greece

After spending some time celebrating Greece's unique culture, it’s time to escape the city and head to the fascinating region of the Peloponnese. Travel by helicopter to the heavenly Amanzoe and delight in a different panorama, of olive groves, rocky coastlines and spectacular rural scenery.

Here, you’ll have the chance to truly unwind for the remainder of your time in Greece. Spend idyllic days lounging by the pools or head down to Amanzoe’s private beach club to enjoy the blissful waters of the Aegean Sea. Should you want to venture from Amanzoe during your stay, there are archaeological sites such as Corinth and Epidavros waiting to be discovered.
