Tiberias & Sea of Galilee

Unlike most of Middle East, the north of Israel lies the fertile hilly region of Galilee, hugged by Mount Hermon and the Golan Heights in the northeast. The famous Sea of Galilee, where Jesus performed his miracles, is an eye-opening experience.

Tiberias Sea of Galilee

Israel's largest freshwater lake, the Sea of Galilee, draws multitudes of pilgrims every year. This picturesque lake is the very site where Jesus performed miracles recounted in the New Testament, such as walking on water, calming the storm and feeding the multitude. Various archaeological evidences remain in the city of Tiberias and its surrounding sites.
