Heading towards Pakbeng you can start with some meditation and a basket weaving workshop before you arrive at Pakbeng’s elephant sanctuary and the chance to explore the village and temple views. Finishing the day with a dinner party under the stars.

Start the day with a calming meditation session followed by a freshly prepared breakfast as the boat sets sail again along this stunning stretch of river towards Pakbeng. Whilst the boat ambles along you may choose to relax and soak up the view or there is the option to join a workshop to make bamboo baskets.
You are in for a real treat once you arrive at Pakbeng, home to the country’s most sustainably managed elephant sanctuary in the country. Here you will have time to watch and observe these wonderful animals being introduced back into their natural habitat. You will also get the chance to walk around Pakbeng and its magnificent temple views.
Back on board you’ll cruise along to your quiet mooring for the night. During the sail you can enjoy the onboard lecture all about the Golden Triangle and its opium trading roots, ready for your next days’ adventures. That evening you will get to let your hair down with a fun sandbank party and dinner in a beautiful riverbank setting with a sublime menu from the chef team.
