The lodge is proud of its cuisine, with many ingredients grown in the organic garden on the premises
Tsara Komba is an intimate and beautifully built lodge on one of the most stunning islands in the Nosy Be archipelago. The island is calm and quiet as there are no roads or tracks and therefore no cars. Built on a steep hillside, the lodge is set in a tropical garden between forest and beach. Nosy Komba is an amazing island to explore. It is actually a former volcano which is today covered by a magnificent primal forest home to all kinds of trees, plants and flowers. Here guests can spot the mischievous black lemurs, the slow yet lively chameleons, not to mention some extraordinarily beautiful birds and butterflies.
Enjoy exploring the nearby beaches, or a visit to the village of Ampangorina where the women embroider tablecloths and the men produce woodcarvings.
The six chalets, which are large in size and come with a veranda overlooking the ocean, are beautifully constructed from traditional materials such as rosewood or sohihy, in shades of brown and subtle, complementary tones. Each chalet boasts a large four-poster bed complete with mosquito net and fan.
The cuisine served in the restaurant blends eastern and western flavours, while fish and fresh local produce take pride of place.

Tsara Komba Lodge is situated in the north west of Madagascar, to the south of the island of Nosy Komba (also known as lemur island), 25 minutes away from Nosy Be by boat.
It is a 13-hour international flight (one stop) to Antananarivo Airport. From Antananarivo it is then a 1-hour 30-minute domestic flight to Nosy Be. Tsara Komba is then a short drive to the harbour followed by a 20-minute speedboat trip to the lodge.
