Guests can even take part in Peruvian cooking lessons with the resident chef, learning signature dishes such as Ceviche. Sumaq Machu Picchu is situated on the edge of the the town of Aguas Caliente and a 3.5-hour train journey from Cuzco.
13-hour flight from London to Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport, followed by a 1-hour 15-minute domestic flight to Cuzco (overnight in Lima usually required). Sanctuary Lodge is a 3-hour 30-minute train journey to Aguas Calientes and a 20-minute car transfer from there.
