"Aswan is a must stop visit to see the local Nubian villages and enjoy traditional Felucca on the Nile; a very cultured element to any Egyptian trip. Luxor has access to the most impressive Temples (Luxor and Karnak) as well as all the Tombs of the Pharaohs which is a must-see for any visit to Egypt. Without seeing the tombs, I feel you miss out on a huge part of the beauty in these ancient sites as the tombs still have so much original color that you can imagine just how spectacular all the temples were back then. The Red Sea is a definite must for me as well - with so much history and exploration taking place during the rest of your trip, it is essential to be able to relax for a few days to process all you have seen. Not to mention the stunning underwater world to explore during snorkelling and diving excursions."
