One of Ireland’s principal and most spectacular natural attractions, the Cliffs of Moher are an absolute must for anyone in the West of Ireland. On a clear day you can see the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, the Maum Turk mountains in Connemara, and even as far as the Dingle Peninsula and the Blasket Islands in Kerry.
The Cliffs of Moher are also one of Ireland’s most important bird-breeding sites, with up to 30,000 breeding pairs of seabirds that from May to August fill the cliffs with their colour and sound, including puffins, guillemots, razorbills, fulmars and kittiwakes.
