Les Dunes d’Ifaty is located 27 kilometres north of the city of Toliara next to a Mangily fishing village, directly overlooking the Mozambique Channel and its coral reef barrier. Set amongst six hectares of gardens containing a wide variety of indigenous plants from this dry region, Les Dunes d'Ifaty is built in a traditional Malagasy style using local materials, and comprises of nineteen villas and twenty-two luxury rooms that are simple but stylish with brightly coloured walls and locally made furnishings. Each villa can accommodate up to four people while luxury rooms sleep two people. Both have a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and veranda.
The main restaurant at Les Dunes d’Ifaty is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers both international cuisine and local seafood dishes. A large swimming pool, overlooking the Mozambique Channel, is the perfect place to relax, or you can head for the beach and bask in the shade of a parasol.
