Situated to the west of the Kruger National Park, the vast open plains and forest of the Makalali Game Reserve are bisected by the Makhutswi river and framed by the Drakensberg Mountains. At 24,500 hectares, this is one of South Africa’s finest privately-owned conservation areas.
