Average time to visit

It is very difficult to predict the weather in the United Kingdom - in the summer from May to late September is generally seen as the most pleasant time to visit. Rainfall is difficult to predict - but the UK does not receive as much as many are led to believe! In the winters, temperatures do fall, but the Christmas atmosphere in London is not to be missed.

Itinerary

Day 1-3

Oxford & The Cotswolds, England, United Kingdom

Day 1 - Welcome to England

Upon landing in London, your private transfer is waiting to whisk you away on a scenic journey to your hotel, a serene retreat nestled amidst the rolling hills and honey-hued villages of the Cotswolds countryside. Upon arrival, unwind in the tranquil embrace of the hotel’s luxurious spa, letting the cares of travel melt away.

As evening falls, indulge your culinary desires with a choice of dining experiences; embark on a sensory adventure at MO, where skilled chefs craft an exquisite eight-course tasting menu that pushes the boundaries of flavour, or opt for a more relaxed affair, savouring locally sourced delights that celebrate the region’s rich bounty.

Day 2 - Daylesford Organic Farm and Cotswolds Distillery

Meet your knowledgeable local guide and spend some time this morning exploring the charming village of Broadway, often referred to as the “Jewel of the Cotswolds,” with its historic limestone cottages and vibrant arts scene. In the afternoon, delve into the world of craft spirits at the Cotswolds Distillery, where you’ll enjoy a masterclass in your choice of whiskey or gin, discovering the intricate art of distillation. Your guide will return you to your hotel, where a serene evening of relaxation beckons.

As midday approaches, savour a farm-to-table dining experience with a kitchen garden lunch at The Pig at Combe, where seasonal, homegrown ingredients take centre stage.

In the afternoon, return to Lympstone Manor to explore its vineyard, strolling among the vines and learning about the estate’s wine-making process, before perhaps sampling their exquisite offerings. It’s a day of coastal charm, culinary delight, and viticultural discovery.
