London Office

Bobbie Garton

My passion for travel really grew when I moved to London from California at the age of 17. When I realised how easy it was to travel around Europe, I would spend most of my free time researching and planning my next weekend adventure. It still excites me every time I begin searching for a new destination to explore!

Many people ask me why I chose to move back to London after growing up in such a beautiful place. But I believe you grow the most when you are outside your comfort zone, in a place that is new and unfamiliar. I am excited to continue to step outside my comfort zone by exploring destinations I have always dreamed of visiting.

After being born in England but raised in sunny San Diego, California, I was lucky enough to begin my travelling journey from a very young age. Exploring the natural beauty of the Hawaiian Islands, splashing in the aquamarine waters across Mexico, and snorkelling my way through Caribbean Islands has left me destined to expand my Oceans & Islands knowledge across the world.

The California girl still lives in me but instead of exploring the beaches of the west coast, I have now become an expert on the picture-perfect coastlines and luxury resorts that lie across the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Middle East, and the Indian Ocean; listening, planning and inspiring my guests to take that trip they’ve always dreamed of.

My hot picks

My top tips

  • Just south of Tulum lies Sian Ka’an one of Mexico’s largest protected areas and its tropical forests are home to toucans’ pumas, jaguars, monkeys and more!

  • Check in to Six Senses Zighy Bay in style- by paragliding (with a professional glider) all the way down Zighy mountain and touching down on the resorts beach- one of the most unique ways to arrive at a resort!

  • For some of the best views of Mauritius, hike Le Morne Brabant. Not only does Le Morne mountain offer breathtaking views over the coastline, it also has a historical significance as a former sanctuary for runaway slaves.
