Eli Hardcastle
Travel has always been in my blood and ever since I was much younger I have enjoyed taking trips to far flung destinations, which actually began with family adventures to Asia. My love for Latin America was sparked by a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos when I was 18, and it has grown from then on!
I have since been lucky to explore both South and Central America in-depth, including trips to Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Uruguay and Costa Rica.
Latin America is a huge region that never fails to amaze me with the variety of different landscapes, eco-systems, cultures and exciting cities it has to offer. Having studied Spanish at University, I have relished how this has allowed me another level of immersion and understanding of local cultures and customs during my travels. I am definitely a Latina at heart.
Highlights of my Latin travels include visiting Chile’s remote Carretera Austral region in Patagonia, riding with gauchos in Uruguay, canoeing down the Peruvian Amazon, strolling through the colourful streets of colonial Cartagena, exploring Costa Rica's canopy walkways in search of exotic species, and watching the sunrise on the other-worldly Bolivian salt flats. One trip that will stay with me forever is my recent visit to Antarctica. The stark landscapes were unbelievable and I’ll never forget watching a pod of orcas swim alongside our boat as we departed the continent. Not to mention the pungent smell of the penguins!
Working in travel, I love sharing my experiences with others and helping to build exciting trips to this epic part of the world on a daily basis, as well as dreaming about where my next destination will take me.

In the planning process, Eli is always incredibly responsive and keen to ensure that our every need is met and she returns emails and calls as soon as she is able to, which we really appreciate. Above all she is really focussed on shaping an itinerary which suits our preferences and does so with obvious care and attention to detail.

Hiring a car in North West Argentina is a fantastic adventure for those looking for something a bit different and allows you to explore the area and its unbelievable scenery at your own pace.

Head to Antarctica in January for a chance to see adorable newly hatched penguin chicks!
