I have always been captivated by the rich art, history and monumental architecture which encapsulates the diverse culture that saturates Europe. My sense of adventure is relentless. Whether it be chasing the Northern Lights in Finland while driving a team of huskies, exploring the unique architectural palaces adorning India and Istanbul, or galloping through the Atlas Mountains on horseback.

I've had the opportunity to travel extensively across Europe and further afield. Italy for me, is the most magical of all the European countries. Each Italian city has something unique and astonishing to offer; from the great ruins that comprise the Roman Forum, to the exceptional glass and carnival masks adorning Venetian shop windows.

As a huge advocate of experiences, I believe there is nothing more stimulating than immersing yourself in as many cultural activities and excursions as possible. There is so much to discover in Europe and from multiple, exciting perspectives! So climb to the top of the Duomo in Florence, take a hike to the volcanic mouth of Vesuvius, and snowmobile through Lapland under the anomaly of the Arora Borealis. My advice is to make the most out of every single destination!

My top tips

  • Want to beat the crowds in Rome? Take an early morning private tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel before the doors open to the public!

  • Wanting to photograph the Northern Lights? Use a DSLR Camera, a tripod, and manually adjust your shutter speed, so the frame is long, taking a few seconds to capture the lights. The longer the shutter speed, the more colour and movement will be captured

  • When in Venice, take the Vapporetto to the surrounding islands. Visit Torcello’s historical Basilica & admire Burano’s array of lace markets. Lastly, uncover Murano’s secret of glass blowing & explore the fascinating studios where the craft originated.
