Julie Geyton

Travelling is in my blood and from an early age I travelled through Europe, USA and Asia. A visit to Cairo for my 18th birthday present kick started my love of the Middle East and ultimately led me to moving to live and work there. My passion still is in the Middle East but I have travelled all over Asia for both holidays and work and love India, Nepal and Bhutan and further afield Japan!

Having lived, worked and travelled in the Middle East, visiting every country from Yemen in the south, to Palestine in the north and everything in between. My favourite country in the region remains Oman due to its amazing diversity from beaches to mountains and desert. A country of amazing people with history and culture, wildlife and incredible natural beauty.

Over the past years I have travelled extensively through Asia, Africa, Middle East, Americas and Europe. India is another country I love and I have visited annually for over ten years constantly learning about this incredible country. It is a place which fills and excites the senses thanks to its culture, sights, vibrant colours, amazing food, not forgetting its incredible wildlife.

I have also travelled to Bhutan and find this a really unique country in Asia with wonderful people and amazing culture.  Spend as long here as possible and visit different valleys to see the diversity of this amazing country. In the India subcontinent I have also visited Nepal which makes for a wonderful holiday for those interested in history, walking and trekking and wildlife.

Finally in Asia I love Japan! I have visited Japan since a young child when I lived in Asia and have spent time working and visiting this amazing country. Spend time exploring as much of this country with major cities and national parks and make sure you include a stay in a traditional Ryokan.

With Scott Dunn, I am surrounded by people who share this love of travel.
