Buenos Aires is a year round destination, spring and autumn (October/November and April/May) being the most pleasant. It can be hot and humid in the peak summer months of January and February. Winter is usually pretty mild.

Day 1-3

Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires and the Pampas, Argentina

Welcome to the busy streets and infectious tango rhythm of Buenos Aires. Your base for the next two nights is the smart boutique hotel Algodon Mansion. The hotel’s 1912 French classical landmark building has been impeccably restored and re-imagined with stylish contemporary elegance. Located right in the heart of Recoleta in the most refined part of town, you’ll be perfectly placed to mingle with Buenos Aires’ high and mighty, and should you want to, take in a show at Teatro Colon. Unlock the secrets of this buzzing metropolis on a private guided tour with one of our expert local guides. Discover the city’s distinct neighbourhoods, from the colourful houses of La Boca to the trendy Palermo district. Finish the tour by heading to the leafy suburb of San Isidro, where you’ll learn to cook empanadas in the home of a renowned local chef. Day 3-6

El Chalten & Los Glaciares National Park, Southern Patagonia, Argentina

Plunge into the tranquillity of Patagonia this morning as you fly to El Calafate. You’ll waste no time immersing yourself in the chilling beauty of the region. Our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you straight to Perito Moreno Glacier, where you’ll be able to wander the winding boardwalks to enjoy spine-tingling views of one of the world’s only advancing glaciers. Enjoy a picnic lunch and glass of wine looking out over the glacier, before continuing your journey to Explora El Chaltén where you’ll spend the next three nights. Blending limitless luxury with boundary-pushing adventure, Explora’s pioneering properties put you at the heart of the Latin American wilderness. Day 6-9

Mendoza, Argentina

Your journey is about to get yet more indulgent as you fly to Mendoza. This is the heart of wine country and the culinary capital of Argentina. Day 9-11

Cordoba, Argentina

You’ve got time for one last adventure. Fly to Cordoba where you will spend your final two nights at Estancia Los Potreros. Lean into the tranquillity of the rugged Argentinean countryside and choose to be as active or relaxed as you wish. If you’ve got energy left to burn, the estancia offers some of the best horse riding in all of Argentina. Saddle up and head out with the gauchos to help them survey their territory while learning about their traditional way of life. However you choose to pass these final days, you’ll enjoy one last spell of first-class Argentine hospitality and cuisine which will leave you hankering to return.
