Spicers Sangoma Retreat is located in Bowen Mountain in the heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, surrounded by walking tracks and rugged bushland. Just 80 kilometres away from the centre of Sydney, the property is a welcome retreat from the busier pace of city life.
Each of the eight suites at Spicers Sangoma Retreat offers guests ultimate privacy and luxury with spacious lounge areas and balconies. The Chef Suite is situated over two floors, with the bedroom on the first floor, offering panoramic views over the bushland, canopy, and the Sydney city skyline in the far distance. The Tent Suite is equally a notable option with a large open plan bathroom with the bathtub offering spectacular views across the rugged landscape.
There are of course plenty of walking trails on offer at Spicers Sangoma Retreat and off the property elsewhere in the National Park; 4WD excursions and cycling tours can also be arranged. However, for those wishing to take it easier, meditation classes, premium, wine cheese and chocolate tasting, and spa treatments are also on offer.
At the Sangoma Restaurant, guests get to enjoy fabulous fresh modern Australian cuisine, prepared using locally sourced, in season, organic produce. All meals are included as part of a stay at Spicers Sangoma Retreat, and the restaurant is exclusive to in-house guests only.
