This ski-in, ski-out property is a masterclass in stylish design and unparalleled service. With a design and decor informed by the traditional wooden alpine chalets of the region, but with sumptuous comfort and understated yet elegant luxury, the property offers 18 rooms and suites, including an eight-bedroom chalet that can be booked exclusively. Overlooking the picturesque Lech am Arlberg, Aurelio lies at 1,500 metres with stunning views over the surrounding peaks and unrivalled access to Schlegelkopfpiste, while the slopes of St. Anton are accessible via the Flexenbahn gondolas.

The 18 rooms and suites of the Aurelio are split across the hotel and chalet, with each offering modern alpine decor and picturesque views framed by floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a private balcony and flood the rooms with light and mountain air. Individually designed, the accommodation is thoughtful and well-appointed, while the latest technologies bring the outside world to this cosy bubble, from flat-screen TVs with Sky TV to complimentary wifi throughout the property.

Aurelio elevates alpine dining to a new level at Aurelio’s Gourmet Restaurant where the award-winning chef Roland Auer craft ingenious and innovative menus that bring together locally sourced and sustainable produce into an exquisite array of dishes. Enjoyed on the sun terrace or in the elegant dining room, the dishes combine the quality and elegance of fine dining with a flavour of the mountains. For a more relaxed affair, the Licca Lounge offers sofas to sink into around an open fireplace, ideal for a post-ski aperitif.

When not exploring the slopes of Lech, Oberlech and Zürs, head to the spa for a luxuriously minimalist escape with a number of saunas, aromatherapy steam rooms, experience showers and herbal bath. A state-of-the-art fitness centre, personal coach, 23-metre indoor pool and jacuzzi accompany an extensive menu of massage and beauty treatments that use Valmont and Ligne St. Barth products.

While the cloud-like beds and 5* service of Aurelio may tempt you to remain cocooned in its luxurious surrounds, the ski slopes and snowshoes trails of the mountains await. Ranging from 1,300 to 2,800 metres elevation, the Lech and Arlberg region offer 340km of ski terrain to discover, with all levels of difficulty. Explore 200km of deep powder runs and 27km of cross country ski trails, take a helicopter flight over the peaks or trek with the alpaca; however you spend your days at Aurelio, the captivating beauty of the mountains is sure to make them memorable.
