Mashatu Euphorbia
Located within the unique wildlife area of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve in Botswana, Mashatu Euphorbia is the brand new luxury camp in the Mashatu Game Reserve tucked away within a euphorbia forest, high up on a cliff face.
Comprising eight 'green' villas, Mashatu Euphorbia is a world-class eco-camp which combines luxury with conservation and sustainability. With an average of 92% rain-free days at Mashatu, the lodge has a state-of-the-art water treatment and recycling system which is powered by solar energy. It's unique location, set high on a cliff face amongst a forest of euphorbia succulents, the lodge looks down to river vistas and the plains beyond.
Each villa has been designed around the shape of the mopane tree pod, a tree which provides the main source of food for animals throughout the dry winter months. Neutral and earthy tones and colours have been used throughout in the design and furniture choice to ensure a harmonious blend with the African bush. Each villa sleeps a maximum of four guests and boast solar-heated private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers and a 'loo with a view' to offer guests a true immersive experience in the bush.
With expert guides hosting a maximum of four guests per safari vehicle, Mashatu Euphorbia have ensured exclusivity remains throughout. Days on safari are spent showcasing a variety of sightings from lion, leopard and cheetah to elephant, hyena and general plains game. To add some extra adventure into a stay, guests can also enjoy mountain biking, walking, horseback riding or even simply spending time in the underground water hide - where you could find yourself face-to-face with some of the game in the reserve.
