Wild Goose Pagodas on route to Chengdu
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a famous well-preserved Buddhist pagoda built in the 652 during the Tang Dynasty.
Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 09:00 am to start the day.
Standing proudly beyond the city walls are the handsome Wild Goose Pagodas, imaginatively named Big and Small for reasons which don’t need explaining. Reportedly modeled on the pagodas of India as seen by an 8th-century itinerant monk, these two structures are not only among the oldest in Xi’an but important symbols of a city whose architecture is heavily influenced by styles from as far afield as Beijing and Iran.
Your WildChina guide and private chauffeur will escort you to the train station and help you check in for your train. Upon arriving in Chengdu, your local WildChina guide will meet you in the arrival hall with your private vehicle on standby to take you to your hotel.
