Blizzard
  • This beautifully appointed five-star hotel in the heart of Val d’Isere village is family owned and managed, ensuring a friendly yet high standard of service

  • Alpine chic décor with lots of wood panelling gives the hotel a traditional 'ski lodge' feel, with many of the rooms and suites enjoying views out over the mountains

  • Unwind in front of the roaring fire at the sociable bar, a popular après-ski hangout spot, before tucking into a heavenly rich fondue or raclette at the main restaurant

  • Soothe your achy joints whilst watching the steam rise off the water at the inviting heated outdoor pool or hot tub in the snow, or book in for a full body treatment at the spa “by Clarins”

The Blizzard is perfectly situated on the main high street in the centre of Val d’Isère just a short walk from the main ski lifts and nursery slopes. All the rooms and suites are comfortably furnished in an homely alpine style offering views of the mountains or the village.

The nostalgic, rustic hotel bar is popular for pre-dinner drinks before dining in the main gastronomic restaurant, where fresh market produce is used in the delicious dishes. Alternatively try ’’La Luge’’ restaurant serving local Savoyard specialities.

The relaxation facilities are some of the best in Val d'Isère, including a Clarins beauty therapy centre with a wide range of spa treatments, outdoor Jacuzzi, a new exercise room, sauna, hammam and a heated outdoor pool and hot tub at the foot of the famous Bellevarde slope.

Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy ski area, home to 300km of high altitude pistes. In addition to cross-country and downhill skiing there are plenty of mountain activities available in the resort such as; snowshoeing, ice-skating, ice-climbing, husky sleigh rides, helicopter rides and paragliding.
