Sani Resort is a family owned 1000 acre private ecological reserve with pine forests, bird sanctuaries, lakes and olive groves, all surrounding the marina and five individual hotels - Sani Dunes, Sani Beach, Porto Sani, Sani Asterias and Sani Club. Lush, landscaped gardens with Mediterranean scents on this unspoilt peninsular separate the hotels, whilst the Aegean Sea laps gently along the seven mile sandy beach.
With views across the gardens, lagoons and the marina, Porto Sani is an established family friendly option. With the exception of the Junior Suites, most of the suites at Porto Sani have separate bedrooms and living areas set within spacious low rise 'villa style' accommodation. The new Three Bedroom Family Suites are ideal for larger families, and those with older children. Families with younger children can use the dedicated crèche, whilst they take some well-earned rest, either by the heated pool, on the beach or in the tranquil Spa Suite for a treatment. Porto Sani has the exclusive El Porto Spanish restaurant, offering a unique dining experience where Michelin-starred chef David Ibarboure and his team invite you to enjoy the authentic taste of Spain with a modern twist.
One of the big attractions of Sani Resort is the amount of activities and facilities the resort, as a whole, offers for all ages and interests. A particular highlight is the bustling marina and shopping plaza with its choice of restaurants, lively bars, boutiques and great leisure and sports facilities.
Families of all ages are a firm feature throughout the resort and catered for in a variety of ways. Most restaurants have dedicated children's menus and are well stocked with highchairs and open at family friendly times, whilst a few are exclusively for guests over 12 years. To make a guest's stay as hassle free and relaxing as possible, Sani can arrange some extra touches in the rooms for children. Porto Sani has its own crèche and children's club, which takes children from 4 months to 12 years of age. There is also a Teen Club within the resort, which is open mid June through the end of August.
When to visit
The restaurants usually open around 6pm. However if you would like your children to eat earlier, it is possible to pre-order your chosen dish at any restaurant at any time. This is a really good child friendly touch.
