Best Time to Visit Guatemala
Guatemala is a year-round destination, but the drier season is the more popular time to go as temperatures are a bit lower, the air is less humid, and the rain is at a minimum. This dry season is typically from November to April.
During the rainy season, May to October, rain can be expected but it typically is in short downbursts and does not last for too long. It is important to be cognizant of weather throughout the region if you plan on connecting your time in Guatemala with any other Central American countries. For example, rain in Belize in September and October can ruin your beach time!
