  • Soak up the Irish hospitality at this historic estate offering sumptuous accommodation and idyllic rural views.

  • Feast on Michelin-starred cuisine created from the finest Irish produce washed down with some of the world’s finest wines.

  • Play a round of golf, take a swim in the pool, or walk, cycle and ride across the rolling countryside.

Sitting in 500-acres of beautiful Irish countryside of gushing rivers and rolling pastures with bucolic verdant views, the Mount Juliet Estate dates to 1757, when the Earl of Carrick first decided to build a working estate on the banks of the Nore River. Today, the Georgian Manor House, home to seven generations of his family, has been magnificently restored to showcase its elegant and historic grandeur.

Full of tasteful refinement, the building boasts wonderfully proportioned rooms, glittering chandeliers, tall windows, period furnishings, luxe wallpaper, fabrics, and linens, all of which are embellished with contemporary comforts. There is a deep sense of peace and serenity afforded by the stunning countryside views and surrounding pleasure gardens. Staff are warm and friendly, and the hotel has a superb concierge service.

Accommodation is either in the original Manor House, which features 32 unique and individually decorated rooms, or in Hunter’s Yard. Set in the estate’s former stables, the 93 rooms in Hunter’s Yard offer more contemporary styled accommodation. Decorated with graceful period charm, Manor House rooms include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, Nespresso machines and individually designed ensuites with robes, slippers, hairdryer, and Bvlgari bathing products. We’d recommend the Manor House River View Rooms, for fabulous vistas, comfortable living space with fireplace. Or for a touch of true decadence, the Presidential Suites include a separate bedroom with four-poster bed, sitting room with fireplace and views across the river.

Rooms in Hunter’s Yard overlook either the gardens or internal courtyard of the building and are full of understated and tasteful luxury. Amenities include flat-screen TV with Chromecast, climate control, safe, Nespresso machine, fridge, safe and ensuite with underfloor heating, robes, slippers, hairdryer and Bvlgari bathing products. Trade up to an Executive Room for a marble-topped bath and rainforest shower or book a Hunter’s Yard Suite for a separate living room.

Guests can enjoy two distinct dining options. Experience world-class fine dining at the Michelin-starred Lady Helen Restaurant, which offers an intimate atmosphere in which to savour modern Irish cuisine guided by the seasons and an impressive wine list. Alternatively, head to the Hound Restaurant for award-winning casual dining, featuring premium Irish produce and an attractive all-weather terrace. Afternoon tea can also be booked and taken in either the Majors Bar or on the velvety lawns.

The hotel has a comprehensive Health Club and includes an indoor pool, steam room, sauna, gym, and treatment rooms. Guests can also enjoy several delightful walks and nature trails through the woods, alongside the river. Cycling, horse riding, tennis, archery, fishing, and falconry are also on offer. Children are welcome at Mount Juliet and there are a range of dedicated activities and services for young ones, providing expert supervision, leaving adult guests free to relax as they wish.

The estate also boasts a world-class golf course. The 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature designed parkland course is set across 180-acres of beautiful Irish countryside and is ranked one of the world’s finest parkland courses. The course is complemented by a clubhouse and shop.
