Close to Courmayeur and Mont Blanc, La Thuile has a fantastic mix of intermediate terrain and a good degree of nursery slopes for beginners. Its proximity to La Rosière creates an extensive ski area that's also perfect for advanced skiers looking for more challenging runs either on/off piste or for heli-skiing.

The village of La Thuile, with its 12th century mining roots is a refreshing change from the modern purpose built lift base and the complimentary bus service between the two, make it easy to experience both parts. The village is relatively quiet, so perfect for families and with a resort altitude of 1440m it's easy for children to adapt. There is a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops at resort level or for a meal with a view, ride the mountain gondola to the top!
