Offering quality accommodation under two-kilometres from the South Rim Entrance to the Grand Canyon, the popular Grand Hotel is famed for its hospitality. One of the few hotels in the region with an indoor heated pool, the hotel is located on State Highway 64 in the village of Tusayan. This gateway location gives guests easy access to all the Grand Canyon has to offer in terms of sightseeing opportunities and activities. The family-friendly accommodation was renovated in 2016 and includes modern amenities. There is both a steakhouse and saloon onsite and guests can enjoy nightly entertainment. Rooms are fresh, modern and well-equipped. Standard amenities include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, HD flat-screen 50-inch TV, HBO Movie Channel, en-suite bathroom with massaging shower head, safe, MP3/iPod clock radio, microwave and fridge, along with tea and coffee-making facilities. Rooms with queen beds sleep up to four and can accommodate a rollaway or extra crib, while Deluxe Queen Rooms include a balcony with outdoor furniture. King rooms can sleep up to three, while larger families may wish to opt for a Grand Suite. Sleeping up to six guests, these feature a king-size bed, living area, queen-size sofa-bed, two TVs and seating area. The Canyon Star Steakhouse serves hand-cut steaks, barbeque, fish and pork dishes in rustic style with exposed timbers, stone and ironwork, while the Canyon Star Saloon is the ideal place to watch big screen sports over a beer.
