The Anahita Wilderness Sanctuary stretches along six kilometres of uninterrupted shoreline on the east coast of Mauritius. Just a 45-minute drive from the airport, the resort occupies one of the sanctuary’s most beautiful settings, on a vast lagoon sheltered by coral reef barriers.

The Four Seasons Resort Mauritius features 132 spacious villas and private residences designed to inspire a connection with the natural surroundings. The Beach and Ocean Pool Villas and Presidential Suite are located on the private island, Ile aux Chats, while the Mangrove Pool Villas, Garden Pool Villas and Private Residences are all on the mainland. Large windows and doors create an airy feeling of space with indoor and outdoor living, providing inspiring views in all directions. All the villas feature a private landscaped terrace with a private plunge pool, open-air bathroom and private outdoor garden shower and are brimming with state of the art comforts.

In addition to the resort's two secluded beaches is their exclusive beach located on the undisturbed eastern coast of Ile aux Cerf offering 40 sun loungers, a beach grill restaurant and bar along with a dedicated team of waiters. Famous for it's stretches of white sandy shorelines and turquoise lagoon waters, guests are whisked here by speed boat transfer which operate throughout the day, allowing guests to visit for the day or simply for a relaxed lunch.

The resort features an eclectic mix of dining experiences to suit any mood. There are four restaurants to choose from as well as the casual O-Bar as a more relaxed venue, which ensure that guests are spoiled for choice. Most of the restaurants have amazing ocean views and at Il Forno, diners can enjoy the green perspectives of the 18th hole.

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is located on the soothing waters of the Indian Ocean, nestled in vibrant mangrove islets. The range of therapies on offer reflects the cultural mix of Mauritius, drawing on Indian, African, Chinese and European traditions while employing natural indigenous ingredients. There are six double treatment suites equipped with steam and outdoor showers which provide the perfect sanctuary for a couple's retreat.

Designed by Ernie Els, the golf course is a 7500 yard, 18 hole, par 72 championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees. Six stunning oceanfront holes culminate in a final shot that is amongst the most spectacular in the world. In addition to golf and for the more active, there are two AstroTurf Wimbledon inspired tennis courts, a state of the art fitness centre and the water sports centre with a huge range of activities which promise to offer the ultimate adrenaline rush.

The ’Kids for all Seasons’ programme is also available for younger guests and teenagers, offering fun and educational experiences including line fishing, crab hunting, mini tennis and mini golf, local crafts and tropical treasure hunts. Children can also make their own dodo cookies in their private bakery. For teenagers aged 13 and above, Karokan offers a relaxing hangout away from the rest of the family. In addition to computers, pool table, table tennis, table football and video game consoles, the centre has its own disco with a DJ balcony. Children can also enjoy the chance to try out a variety of diving and water sports as well as introductions to golf and tennis.

The ever helpful concierge is always on hand to suggest and arrange suitable activities for all the family's ages and interests.
