The rainy summer season lasts from June to October, when it can be very hot and humid. The best month to visit is November, when the surrounding countryside is verdant after the summer rains. Come between November and March to see nesting and hatching turtles, from December to March if you want to watch dolphins and whales, or in April to spot giant manta rays.

Day 1-3

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

Slip into paradise as you arrive at the Four Seasons Punta Mita, your tranquil haven for the next two nights. Sitting in an exclusive area at the tip of Punta Mita, this is the perfect place to get away from it all. There is a pool complex just for adults that includes two main pools, two plunge pools and a whirlpool all in a peaceful, secluded setting, it also has a lazy river, so grab your ring and float on down. Punta Mita boasts one of the world’s largest bays that offers impressive snorkeling, fishing and whale watching, while on land the top-class golf courses make it a golfer’s dream. Spend the day soaking up the exquisite facilities here and dine in one of the four restaurants and four lounges offering a variety of distinct drinking and dining options. Choose from fine-dining at the contemporary Aramara restaurant specializing in Asian cuisine or a quick snack at the Tail of the Whale at the golf clubhouse.
