Ksar el Kabbaba is a stunningly renovated Berber castle surrounded by the palm trees of the oasis of Skoura. Lovingly restored and beautifully kept, this family owned property has been in the same family for over 100 years. Warm hospitality reigns supreme at Ksar el Kabbaba, and the welcoming tea ceremony will immediately let you know that you are an honoured guest. During the evening, it becomes even more special thanks to the romantic candles and lanterns that light the meandering paths and illuminate the private dining spaces. Next door is another garden with aromatic and organic plants that are used for teas, and a vegetable garden where organic vegetables are lovingly grown for use in the kitchen, where the chef is happy to customize meals based on your needs. The rooftop terraces have wonderful views of the River of Pilgrims and surrounding oasis, while the High Atlas Mountains pierce the skyline in the distance. The unique backdrop is a 300-year-old Berber castle ruin, which has been in the family for 7 generations and sits proudly behind the ksar, keeping a watchful eye. The ksar and riads surround a stunning pool area, complete with sun lounges to soak up the sun or umbrellas and covered cabanas for when you need some shade. On-site is a spa offering massage, body scrub, steam room, and gym, and also available is the hammam, with marble floor tiles and zellig tiled walls offering the age-old wellness ritual.
