Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Autumn and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Autumn (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.

Day 1-4

Kathmandu

Touch down in Kathmandu, Nepal’s energetic capital city nestled in the breathtaking Himalayan Mountains. Bursting with colour, sounds and smells that will heighten your senses, we will curate an exemplary itinerary that’ll ensure you leave no Kathmandu stone unturned. Your home for the next three nights is the boutique Dwarika, a luxurious heritage property located in the heart of the city and just a stone’s throw away from the buzzing bars, tastiest restaurants and historic sites. Delve into the buzz of Kathmandu with your private guide and meander through the countless vibrant bazaars. Learn about its rich history and expose the magical enchantment of the famed Pashupatinah Temple. Tantalise your tastebuds with delicious street food and quench your thirst with local speciality drinks as you fuel up before moving onto the many more must-see sites.

In the evening, expose Kathmandu’s alluring character on an optional private photography tour of the city, acquire valuable techniques and perfectly capture the mesmeric lighting and evening aura of the renowned Durbar Square. Head back to Dwarika after a hectic day of exploration and unwind in the tranquillity of the spa. Freshen up for dinner and indulge in delectable cuisine, prepared by the hotel’s specialised chefs using local cooking techniques to produce dishes of highly original quality and flavour.

Day 6-9

Majgaun, Nepal

Utterly rejuvenated from your Pokhara retreat, it’s time to take a short one-hour drive to the Annapurna Range. Home to some of Nepal’s most celebrated mountains, you will have the opportunity to explore every corner of this incredible landscape. Your home for the next three nights is the secluded Maghgaon Lodge, located on the edge of Majgaug and situated 4,620 feet above sea level, the lodge offers unrivalled views of the surrounding valleys. While pictures can’t fully ado justice to this other-worldly landscape, they’re still certain to make you the envy of all you show them to.

During your stay here, your private guide will be on hand to help you uncover the most fulfilling hikes and views of this humbling region. Feel the fresh mountainous air touch your cheeks as you clamber along hidden trails. Day 9-11

Dhulikel

One last bucket-list destination awaits. Head back to Pokhara and fly to Kathmandu to be greeted by the soul-stirring panoramas of the untouched Himalayan landscape. For the next two nights you’ll have the charming Dwarika Resort as your base on the hillside overlooking the Langtang range of the Himalayas. A boutique hotel oozing Nepalese character with a cosy atmosphere and uninterrupted views, we believe this is the best place to end your trip. Each suit is beautifully decorated with rustic furnishings and offers the unique opportunity to sleep under the stars in the spacious outdoor sleeping area.

We’ve got a whole host of experiences in store for you during your stay. Begin the day with sunrise yoga and feel a sense of calm wash over you as you embrace the spine-tingling panoramas that surround you. Lace up and explore the hiking trails that traverse the hotel’s nearby wilderness or whizz through the dense forest tracks on an exhilarating mountain bike experience. Life-affirming scenery and nature aside, one of the real highlights of the few days you spend at Dwaeika Resort is sure to be the food. With most ingredients sourced from Dwarika’s nearby farms and a focus on quality, fresh produce, you will be blown away by the eminence of cuisine displayed in the hotel’s three restaurants.

After an action-packed day of traversing the mountains, sooth your aching muscles in the Pancga Kosha Himalayan spa where treatments are derived from blend of Ayurveda, Buddhist Medicine and local knowledge. Before heading down to dinner for your final feast, relax on the terrace while the sun goes down, uncork a bottle of wine and toast to an unforgettable trip through Nepal.
