Livia Angelini
I was born and raised in Rome and thanks to my mother’s job as a travel writer, our family was always on the road exploring exceptional hidden treasures throughout Italy. Part of my family is from Chicago so I spent many summers and holidays traveling back and forth. Now that I live in California, I take every opportunity I have to discover this part of the world, while still hopping back to Rome
Growing up in a multicultural and multilingual environment such as Europe, I felt very fortunate to be able to travel to other countries and be able to speak the language or understand their culture. Now that I live in the US, I have been exposed to even more cultures and people and languages. Connecting with people while traveling or living abroad really broadens your mind and enrichens the souls, and that is way I am so grateful to be able to create wonderful trips so that our guests can create those connections too and cherish wonderful memories. Scott Dunn has given me the opportunity to travel to unique places, stay in wonderful hotels and made that connection with the people that I believe it to be the most important aspect of traveling.

Il San Corrado di Noto, Ragusa and the south, Sicily, Italy
A secluded property hidden among the Sicilian olive groves, this place is a true oasis, just minutes away from the charming town of Noto, south east Sicily. This jewel is perfect for sun-chasers and extravagant foodies who are looking for some peace and r -
Sao Lourenco do Barrocal, Monsaraz, Alentejo, Portugal
A beautiful estate farm located in the heart of rural Alentejo. I loved knowing (and tasting!) their own wine and olive oil. A serene property where you can enjoy true slow life! -
The Chedi Andermatt, Andermatt, Switzerland
This hotel looks sleek and discreet, but it’s much more than that. Tucked in the charming little town of Andermatt, I love this hotel because of its mix of modern wood and stone décor but still offering a chic and cozy feel. The spa is a must Instagrammab
My top tips

When visiting Spain don’t ever skip San Sebastian, known for its amazing food, such as their typical pintxos (tapas) and located in the Rioja wine region.
-
The restaurant service in Italy is very different from the one in the US. It’s about enjoying your time and having a wonderful meal with absolutely no rush. So don’t worry if it takes a while for your food to come, that means you’re in the right place.

The Amalfi Coast can be one of the most romantic bucket list destinations in the world, but also the most crowded! Enjoy the small towns when it has less tourists and more locals, like May or October.
