One of Austria’s most fashionable resorts, Lech offers the perfect combination of traditional charm, excellent snowfall and fabulous hotels. This chocolate box Alpine village is set beside a meandering river and links to the slopes of Zürs and Oberlech. Those staying here can also easily access St Anton’s ski slopes.
Zürs is the exclusive little sister of Lech and features superb off-piste terrain for those so inclined. Small but perfectly formed, this hamlet of luxury hotels is seated on the slopes for a quick start each morning. Favoured by the wealthy, Zürs is best loved for its heliskiing, fine spas and stylish nightlife. Zürs is a 10-minute drive from St Anton and is blessed with the same superb snow record.
Small but charming St Christoph is near the top of the Arlberg pass and accesses the same pistes as its larger neighbour, St Anton. Its lower slopes are ideal for beginners, while more advanced skiers have St Anton and Stuben’s world of skiing at their feet. Quiet and exclusive, St Christoph is an ideal retreat for those wishing to escape the liveliness of St Anton itself, but still enjoy the wonderful skiing on offer. St Christoph is popular with families and anyone seeking a peaceful, rustic resort with the convenience of doorstep skiing.
