Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
Lying just a short distance northeast of Ulaanbataar, the Gorkhi Terelj National Park is characterised by its pristine alpine landscapes, dense forests and crystal-clear rivers. A popular spot for riding, hiking and mountain biking, this protected area of extraordinary natural beauty is also home to elk, bear and hundreds of species of birds.
