Saseka Tented Camp sits perched on the season Monwana River, with each of the nine tented suites overlooking the dry riverbed making it entirely possible for game viewing from the comfort of the rooms. The camp has been designed and decorated by the award-winning team of Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens to ensure the South African bush features throughout.

Tents have been designed with the utmost of luxury in mind, with a meticulous attention of detail into the structure, design and interiors taken. A sustainable design of reinforced, canvas safari tents on permanent structures has been utilised to create a spacious area for guests to enjoy with privacy and comfort in mind. Each tented room also comes with large sliding glass doors which open up onto a private deck and plunge pool. Saseka also has the Leadwood Villa which sleeps four people in two tents, with space for possibly adding in extra beds for children. The camp itself has a main area to relax, socialise, and eat. All meals are prepared in the onsite custom-designed kitchen by talented chefs who are on hand to cater for all food preferences.

Guests staying on the Thornybush Game Reserve can expect two game drives each day, leaving early in the morning and again in the late afternoon with an experienced and passionate guide on hand throughout as you search for the Big Five and more, as well as learning about the unique plantlife in the bush and how the ecosystem supports life here.
