The Drakensberg
The jagged sweep of the Drakensberg Mountains forms a dramatic boundary between the KwaZulu Natal region of South Africa and Lesotho, its sheer escarpment living up to its Zulu name "Barrier of Spears". From the breathtaking curve of the Amphitheatre in Royal Natal National Park to the rolling hills of the Giant's Causeway Nature Reserve, this is a land of grand views and otherworldly terrains.
These landscapes demand to be explored and admired, whether on horseback, by foot, at the end of a fishing rod or from a helicopter.
