We have a growing list of land and marine conservation projects and citizen science experiences worldwide, each led by experts who you’ll learn alongside. We don’t offer multiday volunteering yet, but you’ll find examples of half-day and full-day opportunities under our Meaningful Experiences for inspiration.

We have a strict Animal Welfare Policy which promotes observation-only wildlife experiences and has been supported by our hotels and destination teams worldwide. We’re committed to working with wildlife experts and conservationists in all our destinations, and our wildlife and nature experiences will always be conducted alongside them.

Our community-based experiences in the Travel with Meaning collection are all led by local people and connected to local charities or foundations which are supporting sustainable community empowerment and development. Tourism has the opportunity to create positive change in low and middle-income countries in particular and these vacations connect guests with experiences that have tangible benefits, whether through education, healthcare, cultural-exchange, circularity or economic improvement.
