Fall is Rhode Island's most glorious season, though spring and summer are pleasant as well. These times bring in healthy-sized crowds due to favourable weather and special events. Weather usually remains warm throughout September, while cooler temperatures in October bring out the colorful foliage. Winter lasts too long for most people's tastes, stretching from December to April. During this period, visitors can expect temperatures below freezing and plenty of snow.

Itinerary

Day 1-4

Westerly, New England, United States of America

Welcome to New England! Check into your room at your seaside resort and enjoy time at leisure to relax on the white sand beach and take in striking views of Montauk and Block Island in the distance. In the afternoon, visit Newport to embark on a private cruise aboard a fully staffed vintage motor yacht, complete with a raw bar and lobster lunch. Admire the town’s famed stately mansions from the water, spectate a local sailboat race, or sail around little-known Jamestown for a true insider tour.

Chatham, New England, United States of America

Cross the border into Massachusetts and make your way up the Cape Cod peninsula, famed for its pristine beaches, quaint villages and delectable seafood. You may elect to head out on a private fishing charter or whale watching excursion, or join a local foodie guide for a tasting tour of this bountiful region’s gourmet

See if you can spot all seven of the nearby lighthouses from the air then once back on terra firma, enjoy the evening at your leisure.
