There's an impressive kids club, too - Ritz Kids caters to children aged 5 - 12 years old, with various activities including environmental projects, storytelling, animal meet-and-greets and a children's movie theatre.
The rooms and suites are stylishly furnished, with crisp linens and the majority with private balconies and patios. All include WiFi internet, air conditioning and large flatscreen TVs in the bedroom. The State Fare Bar and Kitchen serves breakfast lunch and dinner, making the most of the abundant fresh produce found in California and with an open kitchen. There's a choice of dining options here including a cosy fireplace area and dining on the terrace overlooking the gardens and pools. The Edge Steakhouse offers superb views of the valley in a luxurious dining environment with a menu focussed on prime stead, seafood and fine wines. In-room dining is also available 24-hours.

The drive from Los Angeles is approximately 2.5-hours from the city through the mountains and into the desert. If driving from Las Vegas, it is an approximate 4-hour 30-minute drive.
