Best time to visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit

Miami is a year-round destination but summer can be hot and humid with thunderstorms rolling in at 3pm or 4pm. Ideal conditions exist between December and May, when temperatures average between 16°C and 30°C, and average rainfall is a mere 2.14in per month. August is both the rainiest and hottest month – and there’s always the chance of hurricanes during the season from June to November.

The Florida Keys are a year-round destination with balmy winters, but summer can be hot and humid. The best time to visit is in March and April when it is warm and sunny, before the weather begins to get too hot. Hurricanes and other less serious tropical storms can strike Florida any time in the summer up to the end of November, however the risk is greatest between August and October.

Day 1-3

South Beach, Florida, United States of America

Lean into glam Miami as you arrive at 1 Hotel South Beach for the start of this epic trip. Be blown away by the exclusive location this hotel dominates on the iconic South Beach, an eco-chic hotel boasting one of the most scenic poolscapes in Miami. You will be wowed by the exquisite dining here, from the high-end Habitat restaurant to a healthy grab-and-go café in the lobby and poolside vegan restaurant by California chef Matthew Kenney, not forgetting the sublime rooftop Japanese offering, Watr. Kick off with your first private experience on a cultural tour through Miami. Soaking up the very best of its iconic neighbourhoods, huge stately homes, stunning art deco architecture and the famous views of the Miami skyline. Take in the cultural hub of Wynwood, home to an outdoor museum created by redesigning warehouses as enormous canvases for world-renownd street artists, as well as high-end private galleries and public collections before heading to the buzz of Little Havana. Savour the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of this special neighbourhood, exploring hidden spots and meeting fun local characters whilst tasting one of the very best Mojito’s as if you were in Cuba itself. Return to the hotel for another sumptuous evening with food, views and beach chic beauty as you soak up everything this coast has to offer.

After breakfast let the excitement build as you head on to your next leg of this Perfect Pairings adventure, a fascinating transfer to the Florida Keys and your bespoke Everglades experience; a private interactive tour that highlights the unique geology of this World Heritage Site. Board a private airboat to travel deeper into the Everglades in search of its unique wildlife, exploring far from the beaten path. Feeling utterly euphoric from this trip you’ll transfer to your next hotel.
