Ginger is a pioneering cruise ship, breaking out of the densely touristed Halong Bay to open up tour routes around the equally beautiful Lan Ha Bay area of the Halong Archipelago. Here you will see significantly fewer commercial boats, and will be invited to gain a deeper insight into the local way of life. Please do note that Lan Ha Bay although less tourists do visit this area it has become busier over recent years.

With a classic traditional Vietnamese design incorporating contemporary and classic art themes and a length of 57 meters, Ginger is both incredibly spacious and timelessly elegant. Ginger has 12 suites, all with balconies, split over two decks. The Junior Suites are located on the bottom deck and have a light and airy contemporary design. Two of these Junior Suites also interconnect, making them the perfect option for families. On the middle deck are the Signature Suites with delicate silk embroidery on the walls and mosaic tiled walls. White Crane and Blue Phoenix are the two Regent Suites boasting a vast amount of space, antique furniture, gold leaf accents and a jacuzzi, perfect for soaking up the passing views.

Whilst cruising, you can expect a high standard of food and beverage with a fantastic daily brunch, and multi course menu for dinner. Meals can be taken in your cabin (upon request), al-fresco on the terrace, or in the stylish restaurant and bar as you enjoy a practically 360-degree view of the bay through its floor to ceiling glass windows.

The library lounge is the perfect place for a chat on the comfortable sofas as you examine the antiques and artefacts, or otherwise the sun deck and blue tiled pool surrounded by cabanas is great for relaxing and catching some rays.

Onboard activities include exploring the local island life on bikes and on foot, cooking demonstrations onboard, Tai Chi classes on the sun deck and morning kayaking through the limestone karst scenery. A large Spa area with two private rooms (one VIP treatment room including steam bath) is available.
