Nestled on a curve of white sand on the island of Con Son, looking out over the glistening South China Sea is Six Senses Con Dao, the newest addition to the Six Senses family. Protected by lush, forest-clad mountains on a mile-long stretch of sand, each private pool villa is designed to reflect the breathtaking natural surroundings. This beautiful area has been a designated nature and marine reserve for decades and its unspoilt beauty is home to many endangered and indigenous species.

Each villa is carefully designed using timber frames and natural materials with fantastic views out to sea. The contemporary design has left the bathrooms and living areas open-air to enjoy the balmy sea breeze, whilst the bedrooms are all air-conditioned for your comfort. The property offers several different villa layouts to suit every taste and family, each with its own private infinity pool.

Pamper yourself at the fantastic, holistic Six Senses Spa, which offers a wide range therapeutic treatments with international therapists who can advise and guide you through the options of body and beauty care, mind and body balancing and herbal remedies.

The property also has a wide range of activities on offer. Take an early morning visit to a traditional Vietnamese market before trying your hand at a cooking class, visit a nearby turtle hatchery and take advantage of the range of watersports on offer, from sunset cruises to fantastic scuba diving.

The island has an incredibly historic past, dating right the way from the days when the East India Company and Portuguese merchants frequented the island through to the French colonial era and on to the Vietnam War. Spend a few hours wandering the town, visiting the local historical museum and some of the impressive prison sites and the legendary Tiger cages, which are a testament to the will and strength of the Vietnamese people.
