Launched in 2023 and designed for the discerning traveller, the impressive EXPLORA I offers a luxury cruise experience with an emphasis on spacious well-appointed suites, fine dining, holistic wellness, a choice of bar and lounge experiences and generous outdoor deck space.
Life onboard offers plenty of scope for relaxation, fitness, and entertainment. There are three outdoor pools and one with a retractable glass roof, flanked by private cabanas and comfortable loungers, while the Ocean Wellness Centre provides both indoor and outdoor fitness facilities, a spa and beauty salon. Guests can also choose from 12 indoor and outdoor bars and lounges with various entertainment opportunities, a casino, art gallery and range of upmarket boutiques including the only branch of Rolex at sea.
EXPLORA I has been built using the latest technology to add to the ship’s excellent sustainability credentials. These include the use of hybrid-energy, waste-management and energy-saving initiatives and a no single-plastic policy.
The food is outstanding, with an emphasis on high quality health-orientated menus created from local and sustainable produce. Highlights include Sakura serving pan-Asian cuisine, the Med Yacht Club for Mediterranean delights and Fil Rouge for French-inspired international cuisine. While the ship is all-inclusive, there is a surcharge to dine at Anthology which hosts Michelin-starred chefs and offers an elevated fine dining experience. Guests can also enjoy in-suite dining, private dining, and enriching cookery classes in the Chef’s Kitchen.
Entry level Ocean Suites include a lounge area, welcome champagne and minibar stocked with your personal preferences. Expect a large comfortable bed with Frette linens, a walk-in wardrobe with seated vanity area, and a ensuite with Frette bathrobes and bath linens, as well as a Dyson hairdryer.
